Equipment Rental Coordinator
The Opportunity
Join our growing equipment rental team at National Lift Truck in Franklin Park, IL! As an equipment rental coordinator, you will manage the full lifecycle of a rental order from the moment a call or email comes in through equipment delivery, working closely with inside and outside sales reps, shop technicians, and delivery coordinators to ensure our customers receive the excellent service and reliable equipment we’ve been trusted to provide since 1956. In this fast-paced, team-oriented role, no two days, or orders, are exactly alike.

What You Will Do
- Handle incoming rental calls and emails from customers and from our inside/outside sales teams
- Acknowledge and process incoming rental orders; determine the right piece of equipment to fit our customers' needs
- Communicate pricing and rate information to customers
- Coordinate with shop technicians to prepare and fill equipment orders
- Coordinate with our transportation team to schedule and confirm delivery
- Track equipment availability and manage rental inventory
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales reps, and internal departments (service, parts, transportation)
- Utilize various software systems (Salesforce, Record360, rental software, and others) to manage and track rental orders
- Support the team in a highly collaborative environment where departments work closely together

- A team player: this role works closely with a small, tight-knit group and depends on everyone pulling together
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior industry experience required
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.

Compensation
$21.00-$31.25/hour, based on experience
