Job Description Summary
Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental equipment company in North America, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief People Officer and Senior Leadership Team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional administrative, clerical, and organizational support while managing a wide range of executive priorities. The ideal candidate will work independently to coordinate schedules, organize meetings, manage communications, and ensure the efficient execution and tracking of key initiatives and responsibilities across the leadership team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide high level, advanced, diversified and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Chief People Officer.
• Manage heavy calendaring, meeting coordination and planning.
• Perform accurate and timely corporate recordkeeping and completion of expense reports.
• Independently interface with both internal and external high-profile contacts.
• Daily administrative and office management functions.
• Maintains accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and is flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
• Takes initiative, is discreet, acts with diplomacy, maintains a professional attitude and make decisions within corporate/department guidelines.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and reasoning skills.
• Handle all aspects of administrative support in a timely and professional manner, including creation/review/revision of memos, letters, presentations, reports, and correspondences.
• Facilitate company meetings and follow up.
• Manage executive schedules and needs across both Microsoft and Apple operating system platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A high school education or the equivalent knowledge of English, punctuation, grammar, spelling and basic mathematics (ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate fractions and/or percentages).
• Associates is preferred but not essential.
• 7 years of secretarial or administrative experience at the executive level.
• Proficient knowledge of computer software (including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and e-mail).
• Excellent communication skills including tact and diplomacy and strong organizational skills.
• Regular exercise of initiative and personal judgment, attention to detail, use of discretion, and maintaining confidentiality.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $31.15 - 42.82
